Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
- Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk within the store
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Meet any age and legal requirements for employment
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Ability to safely operate store equipment including hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- Ability to perform cleaning duties according to company standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to stay organized and multi-task effectively
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store appearance
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly and timely
- Provide exceptional customer service assisting shoppers
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
