Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds
- Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Capable of operating a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Able to safely operate equipment including hand jack, floor scrubber, and baler
- Skillful in general cleaning duties
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills consistently
- Process customer purchases
- Perform general cleaning duties
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to store management
- Provide feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and uphold document and data confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
