Job Requirements
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- demonstrated compatibility with PHS mission and values
- availability for full-time shifts including weekdays and possibly weekends
- physical ability to perform duties including standing and walking for extended periods
- willingness to obtain food handler certification if required
- prior experience in dining or food service preferred
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or hospitality a plus
- demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- compatibility with PHS mission and operating philosophies
- basic knowledge of food safety practices
Job Duties
- assist with meal preparation
- prepare and maintain dining room for service
- provide high quality meal service to residents and guests
- ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- uphold PHS mission and values in daily work
- communicate effectively in English with customers and team members
- adhere to established policies, procedures, and best practices
