Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school or G.E.D. graduate preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant supervisory experience preferred
- Completion of Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core courses within Cinemark
- Basic food handling training and relevant certifications as required
- Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training program if applicable
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Energetic and friendly attitude
- Excellent guest service skills
- Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Ability to take and follow directions
- Sense of urgency in responding to tasks
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to recruit, train, and lead team members
- Conflict resolution ability
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of restaurant supervisory experience preferred
- Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program
- Basic food handling training and any required certifications
- Completion of Safe Alcohol Service training if managing alcohol
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to recruit, train, and lead others
- Conflict resolution skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Train and coach team members to serve food and drinks courteously and promptly
- Interact verbally with guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Complete assigned administrative functions
- Ensure cash handling procedures comply with company and brand policy
- Manage alcohol service according to all state and federal laws and regulations
- Conduct regular inventory and ordering as necessary
- Accept and audit deliveries
- Adhere to budgets and increase profits through cost management and sales growth
- Handle complex and challenging customer service situations
- Ensure team members follow the dress code
- Learn and enforce company policies and procedures fairly and consistently
- Report employee relations issues to the General Manager
- Identify and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
- Properly use personal protective equipment
- Address safety or security issues
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
