Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 18 years of age
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- knowledge of food safety practices and cooking terminology
- complete company training including food sanitation, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
- exceptional interpersonal skills
- willingness to participate in required training
- ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- culinary experience
- sales experience
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- ability to write simple correspondence in English
- effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
Job Duties
- prepare products according to fresh foods standards
- process and package fresh foods accurately
- stock products efficiently
- provide customer service with a positive attitude
- clean work areas to maintain hygiene
- unload stock safely
- reload salvage products according to fresh foods standards
