Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capacity to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • willingness to complete required training including food safety and customer service
  • ability to read and write in English
  • basic problem-solving skills
  • ability to work in environments with temperature variations and exposure to standard kitchen hazards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • one to three months of related experience or training
  • basic knowledge of cooking terminology and food safety practices
  • ability to use kitchen equipment and cooking methods

Job Duties

  • Prepare, process, package, and stock fresh food products according to Fresh Foods Standards
  • provide excellent customer service
  • clean work areas regularly
  • unload incoming stock shipments
  • reload salvage products following Fresh Foods Standards
  • participate in company training programs
  • adhere to safety and food sanitation protocols
