Job Requirements

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • complete company training including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
  • physical ability to perform job duties including standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to work in varying temperature environments and moderate to loud noise
  • exceptional interpersonal skills
  • willingness to participate in and complete required training
  • ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
  • ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (ged)
  • one to three months related experience and/or training
  • culinary experience
  • sales experience
  • knowledge of cooking terminology and food safety practices
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • ability to write simple correspondence
  • effective communication skills in english
  • basic mathematical skills
  • ability to use various kitchen equipment and cooking methods

Job Duties

  • prepare food products according to fresh foods standards
  • process and package products accurately
  • stock products efficiently in designated areas
  • provide excellent customer service
  • clean and maintain work areas
  • unload and reload stock and salvage products
  • participate in required training and adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
