Job Requirements
- Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position
- food service and/or hospitality experience preferred
- able to frequently lift/carry 30 lbs and occasionally lift/carry 50 lbs
- able to frequently push/pull up to 30 lbs and occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs
- able to stand and walk frequently
- able to perform bending, twisting, stooping
- able to reach at or below the shoulder level
- able to communicate clearly and effectively
- ability to work tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public

Job Duties
- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
- serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
- distribute and collect menus as necessary
- take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions regarding the menu
- follow sanitary regulations at all times
- provide Platinum Service with each dining experience
- set up meal trays, food carts, and dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served
- assist in checking resident trays before distribution
- pour hot and cold beverages for residents and assist with opening containers and condiments as needed
- prepare and deliver snacks to special events and parties hosted at the community
- bus tables during and after meals
- provide support services to other dining rooms during events and activities as needed
- clean dining room area according to cleaning schedules and assignments
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
