Job Requirements

  • a high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • valid driver’s license for applicable state
  • flexible schedule available for long and varying hours
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for entire shift

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • maintain regular attendance according to scheduling needs
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including uniform and nametag
  • comply with Everwood Hospitality Service standards and regulations
  • maintain warm and friendly demeanor
  • be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and employees
  • use proper two-way radio etiquette
  • practice safe work habits
  • handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards
  • turn in all keys and assignment sheets to Housekeeping Office at shift end
  • report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • be familiar with correct guestroom cleaning procedures to assist if needed
  • deliver clean linen to assigned sections if necessary
  • pick up dirty linen or trash from Room Attendants as needed
  • collect and dispose of trash from service landings according to hotel procedures
  • vacuum guest corridors
  • keep hallways, public areas and closets neat and organized
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms
  • adhere to schedule for project cleaning of public areas
  • maintain stairwells to hotel standards
  • keep ash urns clean and filled with sand
  • attend meetings and training as required
  • perform other duties as requested by management
