- prior customer service experience preferred
- one year of prior similar work experience preferred
- no high school diploma ged or college degree required
- ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships
- military experience or veteran status encouraged
Job Duties
- clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms hallways restrooms locker rooms office and stairways
- sweep remove debris clean spills and mop floors in designated areas
- regularly check trash receptacles emptying as needed
- follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
- notify lead cleaner or manager of need for repairs or system additions
- establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients co-workers supervisors and managers
- collect consolidate and separate recycling into proper receptacles
- clean and dust desks chairs tables furniture fixtures doors sills floors ceiling and walls
- polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel surfaces
- wipe and clean tabletops chairs and equipment in food areas
- move cabinets boxes furniture crates and equipment manually or by hand trucks
- clean interior partition glass windows glass partitions and mirrors
- perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks raking leaves cutting grass or removing snow
- maintain cleanliness of restrooms including cleaning and polishing as needed
- comply with all safety security compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the company clients and regulatory authorities
