Job Duties
- Drive sales by providing an inspiring environment and clean sales floor that motivates customers to add to their basket
- Clean all areas of the store including floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles in accordance with company procedures, guidelines, methods
- Maintain appropriate levels of company approved chemicals and supplies, ensure chemical supplies are rotated and stored properly, place orders to replenish when supplies are low
- Remain up to date on required training for chemicals, equipment, and maintenance
- Utilize store provided tools to complete basic maintenance and general repairs such as replacing burned out light bulbs, stained ceiling tiles, soap dispensers, toilet paper holders, corner guards
- Repair shopping carts, fitting room and restroom hardware, make minor flooring repairs
- Perform minor drywall patching and painting
- Use Kohl's tools and technology to plan, communicate and share information with the team
- Report repairs needing outside vendor support to a manager for work ticket submission
- Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Act with integrity, honesty and foster teamwork
- Exercise good judgment and discernment in decisions
- Demonstrate customer service mindset, anticipate needs and resolve issues
- Meet or exceed individual goals
- Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Follow company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
- Maintain adherence to company safety policies for associates and customers
- Receive and respond proactively to direction from supervisors and managers
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
