Job Requirements

  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or high volume full-service culinary environment preferred
  • Food handler certification
  • Trained in knife skills and basic kitchen equipment
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure
  • Ability to establish a positive rapport with various personalities

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent food quality and presentation to guests
  • Manage culinary functions to meet food quality goals
  • Maintain sufficient food stock levels at the line stations
  • Keep workstation clean and sanitary including kitchen equipment
  • Comply with hotel and restaurant rules, policies, and procedures
  • Assist in daily cleaning of pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, and other kitchen areas
  • Educate servers regarding the menu for proper guest service
