Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years old
  • Two years of cooking experience beyond fast food or fast casual
  • Supervisory or mentoring experience in kitchen
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Background check and drug screen clearance prior to hire

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of cooking experience beyond fast food or fast casual
  • Supervisory, training, or mentoring experience in back of house
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commitment to quality and resident satisfaction

Job Duties

  • Ensure high-quality food is prepared, apportioned, and presented appealingly to residents
  • Prepare various types of food including baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking
  • Clean the kitchen and maintain hygiene standards
  • Oversee progress of cooks’ abilities and provide mentorship
  • Manage kitchen projects and aspects of food preparation
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient kitchen operations
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
