Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three years related experience and/or training

Job Duties

  • assist in managing and supervising up to 12 associates in the Starbucks Department
  • assist the Department Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department
  • carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and standards
  • order and receive product
  • complete paperwork
  • interview and train associates
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • assist in appraising performance
  • reward and discipline associates
  • address complaints and resolve problems
