Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts including days, nights, overnights, holidays, weekends, and rotating days off
- Flexible to work additional hours with short notice
- Must be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and items up to 75 lbs
- Customer focused and detail oriented
- Comfortable with computers and able to learn new programs
- Fluent in English reading, writing, speaking, and understanding
- Legal right to work in the United States
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills preferred
- Above average attendance preferred
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand Spanish preferred in some locations
- One year of customer service experience preferred
- Prior training or curriculum development experience preferred
- Experience using Word and Excel preferred
- Must have TSA-acceptable identification for business travel

- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new computer programs comfortably
- Customer service experience preferred
- Prior training or curriculum development experience preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Ability to speak and understand Spanish in some locations preferred
- Must possess legal right to work in the United States
- Must have TSA-acceptable identification for business travel
Job Duties
- Provide efficient, friendly service to all customers
- Promote and sell air travel with American Eagle, American Airlines, and/or contracted carriers
- Complete arrangements for passengers including itineraries, fare computations, refunds, ticket issuance, baggage handling, and excess baggage charges
- Escort passengers safely between terminal and aircraft
- Manage reservations, stand-bys, luggage, cabin availability, and in-flight supplies
- Determine flight close-out times and complete flight forms accurately
- Conduct agent observations and associate activities
- Administer local training programs, schedule manpower, and ensure safe, consistent operations
- Maintain supplies and inventory control logs
- Prepare customer correspondence, investigate discrepancies, compile statistical data for reports
- Assist management with administrative duties and represent the company when assigned
- Operate mobile mechanical jet-bridge safely and efficiently
- Open and close aircraft cabin doors without assistance
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing stairs, lifting baggage up to 75 lbs, and navigating working surroundings safely
