Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and procedures
- Physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift as required
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including potential weekends
- Commitment to safety procedures and protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is an advantage
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education
Job Duties
- Provide daily housekeeping duties as assigned per standard operating procedures
- Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
- Clean floors including dust mop, wet mop, sweeping and vacuuming
- Clean movable and stationary furnishings throughout the facility
- Clean fixtures including restrooms, light fixtures, water fountains, etc.
- Dust, disinfect, and clean horizontal surfaces throughout the facility
- Remove trash and clean/disinfect waste containers
- Clean and disinfect restrooms in resident rooms and public spaces
- Clean public spaces including corridors, stairwells, elevators, waiting rooms, lobby, etc.
- Clean equipment and work areas as assigned by manager
- Be knowledgeable of federal, state, and facility rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Attend in-service educational programs
- Follow defined safety codes while performing all duties
- Understand facility's fire and disaster plans and follow procedures during drills and emergencies
- Perform other department duties as assigned
