Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- Ability to perform cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting and floor washing
- Ability to launder linens and clothing
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods
- Availability to work 30-40 hours per week including alternating weekends
- Must maintain a friendly and respectful attitude toward residents and staff
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Dependability and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Cleaning resident rooms, common areas and office areas including vacuuming, dusting, floor washing and trash removal
- Laundering linens and residents' personal laundry
- Watering resident plants as needed
- Refilling bird seed
- Interacting with residents to enhance their comfort
- Maintaining cleanliness standards consistently
- Assisting with other maintenance tasks as assigned
