Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years housekeeping experience in private residences or similar settings
- Ability to travel between Greenwich, CT and West Village, NYC
- Flexibility to work Saturday through Wednesday with varying hours
- Capability to handle physically demanding cleaning tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Clean background and references
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role
- Knowledge of cleaning and care techniques for specialty surfaces and delicate items
- Ability to manage household errands efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in wardrobe maintenance and organization
- Pet care experience
Job Duties
- All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence
- Ability to perform museum-quality cleaning with proficiency in special surfaces (antiques, crystal, china, silver, brass, stone, marble, fabric/upholstery, artwork, and other specialty surfaces)
- Washing, ironing, steaming and folding linens, towels and clothing
- Managing items sent out for professional care
- Assisting with packing and unpacking for moving and travel
- Wardrobe maintenance and organization
- Management and organization of all closets, pantries, and storage areas
- Willingness to run routine errands such as doing laundry, dry cleaner, groceries
- Grocery shopping for the family and residence
- Ensuring proper groceries are in stock at all times
- Providing pet care to the family’s dog: walking, feeding, and administering medicine when needed
