Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- minimum of one year experience in housekeeping
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- knowledge of housekeeping cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- willingness to work in varied weather conditions and exposure to cleaning chemicals
- physical ability to perform tasks including standing walking crouching and lifting occasionally

- knowledge of common housekeeping concepts practices and procedures
- ability to follow safety protocols in use of chemicals and equipment
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- clean hallways lobbies lounges offices restrooms corridors elevators stairways and other areas to meet health standards
- sweep mop scrub and vacuum building floors
- strip and seal floors once a month
- clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- clean windows glass partitions and mirrors using appropriate cleaning materials
- dust furniture walls machines and equipment
- drive vehicles to other cleaning sites as required
- follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
- gather and empty trash
- perform walk-through to identify repair or maintenance needs
- remove snow from sidewalks driveways and parking areas and apply snow melting chemicals
- keep storage area and cleaning cart organized and stocked
