Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
- Knowledge of store security and safety procedures
- Ability to operate store equipment relevant to role
Job Duties
- Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
- Proactively engage with customers to recommend products and services
- Provide SMART customer service through execution of Lowe's policies and procedures
- Listen and respond promptly to customer and employee questions
- Coach and train front-end associates and sales opportunities
- Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds using the cash register
- Ensure safety and security of the store by detecting theft and maintaining compliance with safety standards
