Job Requirements
- Less than 1 year of experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology such as smart phones and tablets
- 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
- Experience as a head cashier preferred
- Experience working in retail departments
- Supervisory experience including training and coaching
- Experience detecting signs of shoplifting preferred
Job Duties
- Monitor and assist customers simultaneously at multiple self-checkout registers
- Proactively greet, assist, and engage with customers
- Recommend products and services appropriately
- Complete transactions accurately while handling merchandise
- Provide excellent customer service following Lowe's policies and programs
- Assist customers in locating, selecting, and carrying merchandise
- Communicate product features, warranty, and benefits to customers
- Coach and train associates on departmental duties and sales opportunities
- Operate cash registers to process sales, returns, and refunds
- Provide supervision, coaching, and support to front-end associates
- Remove security tags and bag merchandise
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Open additional registers as needed
- Prepare register area and ensure equipment functionality
- Inspect returned merchandise
- Enter, submit, and manage customer orders
- Verify product information and price matches
- Record store-used items
- Monitor cash amounts and maintain store security
- Detect and report shoplifting and security risks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of store areas
- Adhere to safety standards and use of safety equipment
- Operate store equipment relevant to role
- Perform other assigned duties as required
