  • Supervisory experience including training and coaching employees
  • Knowledge of theft detection methods in retail

Job Duties

  • Monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
  • Proactively greet and engage customers recommending products and services
  • Assist customers with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
  • Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds using a cash register
  • Supervise, coach, and provide feedback to front-end associates
  • Verify and bag merchandise for customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout and store areas
  • Inspect returned merchandise for damages
  • Enter and submit customer orders and load tickets
  • Monitor merchandise entering and leaving the store
  • Detect and report signs of theft or security risks
  • Conduct daily safety reviews and maintain safety compliance
  • Operate store equipment as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
