Job Requirements

Less than 1 year of experience using a computer
Less than 1 year of experience using retail technology
1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Must be able to work flexible hours
Strong communication skills
Ability to stand and move for extended periods

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier
Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs
Supervisory experience including delegating and coaching employees
Ability to operate cash registers and store equipment
Knowledge of customer service policies and procedures
Basic computer skills including use of smartphones and tablets

Job Duties

Demonstrates ability to monitor and assist customers at multiple self-checkout registers simultaneously
Approaches and interacts with customers to recommend products and services
Proactively greets and engages with customers at self-checkout registers
Processes sales transactions, returns, and refunds using a cash register
Provides supervision, coaching, and support to front end associates
Prepares register area and stocks supplies at beginning and end of shifts
Monitors merchandise to prevent theft and ensures compliance with safety standards
