Job Requirements

  • Hold or meet qualifications to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Type Rating
  • Possess strong communication skills and passion for teaching
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • Participate in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program
  • Experience flying business aircraft is a plus
  • Authorized to live and work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Hold or meet qualifications to receive an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC Type Rating
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching others with strong communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs
  • Experience flying business aircraft is a plus
  • Authorized to live and work in the United States
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels both spoken and written
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Capable of tailoring training sessions for a diverse customer base
  • Detail-oriented with ability to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and FAA requirements

Job Duties

  • Deliver flight training in a flight simulator and ground school in accordance with regulatory agency standards, CAE approved curriculum, and customer requirements
  • Act as subject matter expert ready to lead clients through their training
  • Provide simulator, flight, or classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications
  • Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings thoroughly and professionally
  • Complete required administrative duties such as training records, remedial training recommendations, tracking instructional qualifications and activity
  • Act as subject matter expert in creation of curricula and courseware when required
