Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to operate forklifts and other store equipment with certification
- prior experience in customer service or retail environment preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to lift and move merchandise as required
- commitment to follow safety guidelines and procedures

Job Duties
- provide SMART customer service through execution of Lowe's policies procedures and programs
- seek out customers to understand needs and assist in locating demonstrating selecting carrying or loading merchandise
- respond promptly to customer and employee questions by guiding them through projects and store areas
- communicate product stock special order merchandise feature benefits application and warranty information
- cross-functionally train in other store areas to improve customer service
- receive and direct calls appropriately
- review daily and weekly schedules to ensure proper coverage and assign backup
- work with PRO team to maintain service expectations for Pro Fulfillment
- pick stage and verify readiness of delivery pro installation and pickup orders
- monitor customer service notifications and follow up on order quality issues
- enter and retrieve inventory order management and special order information
- conduct fulfillment area walks to monitor status
- liaise between Pro and fulfillment departments to ensure timely staging of Pro orders
- pull prepare inspect stage and load merchandise according to invoices using power equipment if necessary
- verify product matches invoices by reviewing items model numbers quantities and descriptions
- perform supplemental fulfillment tasks such as order audits and restocking
- complete delivery and pickup administrative tasks including auditing staging locations and contacting customers
- validate items being carried in and out of the store when appropriate
- ensure loads comply with Department of Transportation regulations
- maintain store cleanliness and organization including shelf straightening and trash removal
- detect and report security risks and shoplifting
- adhere to safety requirements relevant to job duties including use of safety equipment and conducting safety reviews
- operate various store equipment including forklifts pallet jacks and inventory systems
- obtain certifications for operation of Counterbalance Forklift Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and Order Picker
- perform other assigned duties as needed
