Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate Counterbalance forklift, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and Order Picker with certification
- Previous experience in customer service or retail environment preferred
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and operating power equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to adhere to safety standards
- Basic computer proficiency

Job Duties
- Provide smart customer service at all times through the execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs
- Seek out customers to understand their needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
- Listen and respond knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when necessary
- Communicate information regarding stock, special orders, feature benefits, application, and warranty programs
- Cross-functionally train in other store areas to enhance customer service
- Review daily and weekly schedules to ensure proper coverage and assign backup as needed
- Pick, stage, and verify readiness of delivery, pro, installation, and pickup orders
- Follow up with leadership when picking quality standards are not met
- Monitor notifications to maintain customer service expectations
- Enter and retrieve inventory, order management, and special ordering information from Lowe's systems
- Conduct walks of fulfillment areas to monitor status
- Inform supervisors about fulfillment area status via multiple communication channels
- Act as liaison between Pro and fulfillment departments for order readiness
- Pull, prepare, inspect, stage, and load merchandise using power equipment when necessary
- Verify product matches invoice details
- Complete delivery and pickup administrative tasks including auditing and contacting customers
- Validate items entering and exiting the store
- Ensure safety and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations for loads
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization by following housekeeping standards
- Detect signs of theft and report promptly
- Maintain a safe and secure environment through safety reviews and hazard identification
- Operate various store equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and surveillance systems
- Obtain required certifications for power equipment operation
- Perform other duties as assigned
