Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in food service
- Ability to obtain ServSafe Manager Certification within 90 days
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work onsite full-time
- Willingness to comply with company policies and standards
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience supervising multiple employees
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge
- ServSafe Manager Certification (required within the first 90 days of hire)
- Advanced degree in culinary arts or related field (preferred)
Job Duties
- Providing hands-on supervision and oversight for the preparation, cooking, and portioning of meals, following company recipes based on daily needs and contractual obligations
- Ensuring all meals meet standards for quality
- Supervising multiple employees to maintain efficient workflows
- Enforcing food safety and sanitation standards including ServSafe certification compliance
- Managing inventory and supplies needed for meal production
- Coordinating with hospital staff to meet specific dietary requirements
- Training and mentoring staff to uphold company policies and service excellence
