Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- Availability to work specified PM shifts Wednesday through Friday and weekends
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to handle physical demands of dishwashing tasks
- Willingness to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Prior dishwashing experience preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Up to one month of related experience or training
- Prior kitchen experience as a dishwasher preferred
- Ability to read limited two- and three-syllable words
- Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with tens and hundreds
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple instructions
- Ability to handle standardized situations with occasional variables
- Effective communication skills for daily interaction with team members and management
Job Duties
- Clean and store all service ware used by the Food and Beverage division
- Assemble and operate the dish machine including replacing food traps and curtains
- Fill pot sink compartments and silverware pre-soak tubs
- Run dishes through the dish machine throughout the day and wash pots and pans
- Communicate with the main kitchen supervisor to identify prep items or additional duties
- Prepare food items through various techniques such as blending, chopping, slicing, and mixing
- Count and plate dishes for service and banquet setup
- Ensure cleanliness of service ware to the standards of the Club Executive Chef and Sous Chef
- Bleach and polish china and silverware as necessary
- Close and break down the dish station including cleaning the dish machine
- Dispose of garbage, food waste, and recycling properly
- Clean and sweep kitchen areas as needed
- Portion ingredients for menu items and assist with banquet plating
- Stock and rotate food products
- Perform similar job-related duties and special projects as assigned
