Job Duties
- Operate dish machine including scraping, soaking, stacking and racking of soiled dishes, glasses, utensils and service wares
- Return cleaned and sanitized service wares to appropriate storage areas
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of equipment such as racks, bus tubs and rack dollies
- Remove refuse generated in the dietary department including bagged waste and recyclable cardboard
- Maintain department floors through sweeping, mopping and scheduled stripping
- Assist cooks with washing pots and pans
- Clean work area according to schedule and assignments
- Provide support to other dining rooms and special programs as needed
- Assist chef with preparing and/or dishing up desserts, garnishing plates, and preparing and delivering room service trays
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Attend and participate in mandatory in-service training as required
