Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • one to three years' related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • proficiency with HT Internet software, email, inventory software, spreadsheet, and word processing software
  • completion of company training programs including orientation and customer service network

Job Duties

  • manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department
  • assist the Department Manager with department direction, coordination, and evaluation
  • perform duties of baker/fryer, cake decorator, Fresh Foods clerks, and chef as needed
  • interview and train associates
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and provide feedback
  • address complaints and resolve problems
