Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- knowledge of HT Internet software, email, inventory software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software
- ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- ability to perform operations using American money and measurement units
- ability to apply common sense understanding to written, oral, or diagram instructions
- complete company training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and department manager training
- ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, taste or smell
- ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally
- ability to work in wet or humid conditions and around moving mechanical parts
- flexible and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure

Job Duties
- manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department
- assist the Department Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department
- perform duties of baker, fryer, cake decorator, Fresh Foods clerks, and chef as needed
- interview and train associates
- plan, assign, and direct work
- assist in appraising performance
- reward and discipline associates
- address complaints and resolve problems
