Job Requirements
- us work authorization is required
- at least 2 years of high-volume serving experience preferably in a hotel resort or club environment
- excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
- extensive knowledge of wine beer and spirits
- ability to upsell
- strong time management skills ability to multi-task set priorities and adjust to changing conditions
- ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job knowledge of NorthStar POS preferred is a plus
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
- ability to lift carry and move up to 30 lbs

Job Duties
- describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item's origin taste and preparation methods
- confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using the hotel's point-of-sales system
- check completed orders with guest's original order
- coordinate food timings
- transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality
- anticipate guest needs ascertain satisfaction and offer suggestions and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- properly and accurately close members checks
- properly settle voided checks or complimentary items
