Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years experience in customer service or related fields
- proficiency with CRM databases and ticketing systems
- ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong multitasking and organizational skills
- comfortable working with public and handling high volume phone and email traffic
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- ability to work independently and in team settings
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality, sales, telemarketing, customer service, and/or reservations
- knowledge of Tessitura or other customer relationship management (CRM) databases
- familiarity with project management tools such as Monday.com
- strong written and oral communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
- flexibility in handling shifting demands and workload
- ability to deescalate issues resulting in positive outcomes
- understanding of upselling techniques
Job Duties
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and proactivity when responding to public inquiries via email, phone, and in-person
- accurately and efficiently create reservations and process payments in Tessitura for various groups
- provide end to end care for guests throughout the reservation process including scheduling, invoicing, and confirming reservations
- project a professional and energetic demeanor with guests, volunteers, and employees
- utilize Monday.com for project management and workflow related to group bookings
- coordinate all group logistics onsite such as check in and dining
- provide group reservation coaching and training to part-time ambassadors
- proactively sell and upsell additional experiences to maximize revenue
- meet or exceed service and sales targets
- understand internal phone system and direct guest inquiries effectively
- accurately account for cash transactions
- support other areas of the Building and Guest Operations team as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
