Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines specific to senior nutrition
  • Ensure all food preparation and storage complies with health and safety regulations and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of residents
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations throughout the shift
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring food supplies and reporting needs to management
  • Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal service
  • Participate in ongoing training and meetings to stay updated on best practices and community policies
