Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Availability to work Thursday through Monday 10:30am-7:00pm including holidays
- Food Handler certificate preferred
- Serve Safe certificate preferred
- Ability to work full-time
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of cooking experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Experience operating industrial sized professional grade food service equipment preferred
- Lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience
- Commitment to safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Prepare, distribute, and store all foods according to department policies and procedures
- Assist with inventories and record keeping
- Manage portion control and special function preparations
- Implement cost controls according to departmental standards
- Maintain standards of safety and sanitation of all equipment and work areas
- Serve as backup for Team Lead as needed
- Support and live out Immanuel's Mission and CHRIST Promises
