Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Intermediate English or higher preferred but not necessary
- Languages of current staff include Albanian, Greek, and Spanish if English is not strong
- Successful completion of a criminal background check upon hiring, but prior to commencing employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English or other languages including Albanian, Greek, or Spanish
- Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning of dormitory bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and break rooms
- Conduct weekly deep cleaning tasks including refrigerators, vents, and upholstery
- Carry out monthly cleaning duties such as carpets, grout, and pest prevention
- Maintain health and safety standards in dormitories and administrative spaces
- Ensure professional presentation of facilities for staff, students, and visitors
- Support preventive maintenance activities to protect facilities from long-term damage
- Collaborate effectively with team members to balance workload and coverage
