Job Requirements
- Must be 21 or older
- available all nights, holidays, and weekends
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous liquor, wine, and food service training
- Naperville and Illinois BASSET certification
- Illinois Food Handler Certification
- formal wine training program completion
- 3-5 years upscale dining experience
- experience with Micros Simphony POS
- strong leadership and communication skills
- advanced wine knowledge
- ability to multitask

- excellent verbal and written communication

- neat and clean appearance

- ability to compute basic arithmetic

Job Qualifications

- 3-5 years upscale dining experience in similar settings
- understanding of luxury service standards
- experience with Micros Simphony POS
- strong leadership and communication skills
- advanced wine knowledge, particularly Italian wines
- ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- experience with POS and administrative functions
- flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Complete all opening, closing, and running side work
- attend all pre-shift meetings and lead them when requested
- deliver exceptional and intuitive service aligned with restaurant standards
- provide personalized service to VIP guests
- guide guests through Italian cuisine and wine pairings
- maintain expert knowledge of the wine list
- oversee daily floor operations and act as point of contact for front-of-house service
- support and mentor servers to ensure service quality
- communicate effectively with kitchen and management
- uphold restaurant ambiance and cleanliness
- handle guest concerns and service recovery
- assist with server training and continuing education
- follow safety and sanitation policies
- abide by alcoholic beverage sale regulations
- understand emergency procedures
- collect and report tips
- ensure timely check presentation and payment processing
- settle with management with detailed POS reports
- follow cash handling rules
- perform related duties as assigned
