Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Class A CDL license for multi-unit CMV locations or Class A or B CDL license with air brake endorsement for single-unit CMV locations
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass motor vehicle record screen
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to comply with Department of Transportation and CDL regulations
Job Qualifications
- Class A or Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement

- Experience driving a semi-truck or trailer preferred
- Experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service preferred
- Experience operating a forklift or Moffett preferred
Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service through daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs
- Seek out customers to understand needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, or loading merchandise
- Listen and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions, guiding them through projects when necessary
- Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers
- Communicate information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs
- Contact customers regarding delivery or coordinate with the truck driver to call the customer
- Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise according to schedule
- Pull merchandise, build and band delivery loads, and load trucks within payload limits according to delivery order
- Inspect condition of products before loading for delivery or assisting customers
- Match items on invoice with quantities loaded by verifying descriptions, items, and model numbers
- Ensure that loads are safe, secure, and within Department of Transportation regulations
- Update delivery and route status on system for tracking purposes
- Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery
- Verify daily vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and repairs for vehicles and equipment
- Complete Department of Transportation reporting to maintain certification and CDL compliance
- Detect signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks and communicate promptly to management
- Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and work areas
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews and noting hazards
- Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties
- Operate store equipment as needed depending on role and department
- Perform other duties as assigned
