Job Requirements
- Must hold a valid Class A CDL license in locations with multi-unit commercial motor vehicles or Class A or B CDL license with air brake endorsement in locations with single-unit commercial motor vehicles
- Possess a valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record screen in accordance with company requirements
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to comply with Department of Transportation and Commercial Driver's License regulations

- Prior experience driving commercial vehicles preferred
- Experience in retail customer service or in-home delivery preferred
- Forklift or Moffett operation experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide SMART customer service at all times
- Seek out customers to understand their needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
- Listen to and respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by walking them through projects when necessary
- Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers
- Communicate information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs
- Contact customers regarding delivery or coordinate with the truck driver to call the customer
- Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise according to schedule to ensure on-time delivery of orders
- Pull merchandise, build and band delivery loads, and load trucks within payload according to delivery order
- Inspect condition of products before loading for delivery or assisting customer with loading
- Match items on invoice with quantities loaded by verifying descriptions, items, and model numbers
- Ensure that loads are safe, secure, and within Department of Transportation regulations
- Update delivery and route status on system for tracking purposes
- Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery
- Verify daily vehicle inspections and report and ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and repairs for delivery vehicles and equipment
- Complete Department of Transportation reporting to maintain DOT certification and CDL compliance
- Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks and promptly communicate them to management or Asset Protection
- Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and programs to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and working areas
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment including daily safety reviews, hazard noting, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates
- Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties including use of safety devices
- Operate store equipment as needed including Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, CCTV, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, flooring cutters, compacter baler
- Perform other duties as assigned
