Job Requirements
- Class A or B CDL license with appropriate endorsements
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass motor vehicle record screen
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with air brake endorsement
- Ability to obtain valid medical certificate
- Ability to pass motor vehicle record screen
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Experience driving semi-truck or trailer preferred
- Experience in retail customer service or in-home delivery preferred
- Experience operating forklift or Moffett for loading/unloading preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Knowledge of DOT and CDL regulations
Job Duties
- Provides SMART customer service through execution of Lowe's customer service policies
- seeks out customers to understand needs and assists with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, or loading merchandise
- listens to and responds promptly to customer and employee questions by walking them through projects
- communicates product, warranty, and program information to customers
- plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, delivers merchandise on schedule
- pulls merchandise, builds and bands delivery loads, loads trucks within payload limits
- inspects condition of products before delivery
- matches items on invoice with quantities loaded
- ensures loads are safe, secure, and comply with DOT regulations
- updates delivery and route status on tracking systems
- unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery
- verifies daily vehicle inspections and reports
- detects and reports security risks such as theft
- maintains cleanliness and organization of store and work areas
- adheres to safety requirements in job duties
- operates store equipment as needed
