Job Requirements
- class A CDL license or class B CDL license with air brake endorsement
- valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one
- ability to pass motor vehicle record screen
- ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required
- ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- must be 21 years of age
- ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations

- ability to operate delivery vehicles and store equipment
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- previous experience in commercial driving or retail delivery preferred
Job Duties
- provides SMART customer service at all times
- seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
- listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions
- communicates information to customers regarding stock, special orders, features, applications, and warranties
- plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and delivers merchandise on schedule
- pulls merchandise, builds and bands delivery loads, and loads trucks within payload
- inspects condition of products before loading and matches items with invoices
- ensures loads are safe, secure, and compliant with Department of Transportation regulations
- updates delivery and route status for tracking
- unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery
- performs daily vehicle inspections and ensures maintenance and repairs
- completes DOT reporting and maintains CDL compliance
- detects and reports shoplifting, theft, and security risks
- ensures compliance with housekeeping standards and maintains a safe and secure work environment
- operates necessary store equipment as required
- performs other duties as assigned
