Job Requirements
- Class A CDL license or Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
Job Qualifications
- Class A CDL license or Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass MVR screen according to company requirements
- Ability to obtain required sales licensure or registration
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Experience driving semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school preferred
- Experience in in-home delivery or retail customer service preferred
- Experience operating a forklift or Moffett preferred
Job Duties
- Provides SMART customer service through execution of Lowe's customer service policies and procedures
- Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
- Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions
- Communicates information regarding stock, special orders, product features, applications, and warranties
- Contacts customers about delivery and coordinates with truck drivers
- Plans delivery activities, prints loading tickets, and ensures on-time delivery
- Pulls, builds, bands, and loads delivery merchandises
- Inspects products before loading or assisting customers
- Matches invoices with loaded items
- Ensures safe and secure loads complying with DOT regulations
- Updates delivery and route status for tracking
- Unloads, installs, and tests appliances upon delivery
- Conducts daily vehicle inspections and maintains delivery vehicles
- Completes DOT reporting to maintain certification and compliance
- Detects and reports signs of theft and security risks
- Maintains cleanliness and organization according to store standards
- Ensures a safe work environment and adheres to safety requirements
- Operates store equipment as needed
