Job Requirements
- Ability to greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work assigned schedules between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Capability to accurately balance cash drawers
- Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to learn and apply product knowledge
- Commitment to punctuality and reliability
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-3 months cashiering experience preferred

Job Duties
- Greet all customers when entering and exiting the store
- Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and clearly explain all benefits
- Accurately balance cash drawer at the end of the day
- Maintain a clean working environment and personal work space
- Engage in conversation with customers to add a personal touch to transactions
- End each transaction by thanking every customer
- Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
- Contribute to a positive work environment that fosters team pride and personal growth
- Perform basic math and interpret bar graphs
- Read and comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Write simple correspondence
- Present information effectively to customers and employees
- Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
