Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic communication skills in English
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to participate in and complete all necessary training
- Must adhere to company grooming and dress standards
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and report hazards
- Must be punctual and reliable, notifying management in advance of any absences or tardiness
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three months related experience or training preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- Ability to complete company training programs including food sanitation and safety
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply commonsense understanding
- Capacity to work as part of a team and assist others
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by addressing their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock fresh food products according to standards
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service at the sales floor and counter
- Prepare and decorate baked goods and create custom party trays
- Bake, fry, broil, and roast meats according to company guidelines
- Ensure food safety by following refrigeration, dating, and sanitation standards
- Stock shelves, manage inventory, and organize product displays
- Unload deliveries, reload salvage products, and maintain clean work areas
- Operate necessary equipment to prepare and portion products
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Assist fellow associates and participate in training sessions
- Maintain a professional business image and be punctual and reliable
