Job Requirements

Associate must be at least 18 years of age
willingness to participate in all required training programs
ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch regularly during shifts
reliable and punctual attendance
ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and moderate to loud noise
adherence to company grooming and dress code policy
capability to apply safety and food handling standards consistently
strong verbal and written communication skills in English
ability to adapt to changing work priorities and multitask effectively

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
one to three months related experience or training, or equivalent combination
ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and communications
basic math skills including addition and subtraction with American money and weight measurements
ability to complete company-mandated training including food sanitation, safety, and customer service
exceptional interpersonal skills
ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems
physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards
provide courteous and prompt customer service
maintain cleanliness of work areas including prep rooms and coolers
unload stock and reload salvage products as required
operate equipment to prepare and portion fresh food items
follow all food safety, sanitation, and company standards
assist fellow associates with daily tasks such as inventory, restocking, and merchandising
comply with safety regulations and report hazards immediately
communicate effectively in English with customers and fellow associates
