Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, talk, hear, and taste or smell regularly
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain personal grooming and dress according to company policy
- Punctuality and reliability in reporting to work
- Ability to communicate in English with customers and fellow associates
- Must complete company required training programs
- Ability to work in moderate environments with exposure to hot, cool, and cold conditions

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions in English
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction with American money and weight measurement
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions
- Completion of company training including food sanitation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge
- Ability to work in a team environment and support fellow associates
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and situations
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods standards
- Provide customer service including interacting on sales floor and sales counter
- Clean work areas to maintain sanitation and health standards
- Unload stock and reload salvage products according to standards
- Operate necessary equipment to prepare and portion products
- Follow all safety regulations and report accidents or hazards
- Maintain merchandising displays and offer daily samples
- Communicate effectively with customers and associates
- Assist fellow associates with tasks such as unloading trucks and restocking
- Comply with company standards, policies, and procedures
- Perform essential job functions throughout scheduled hours
