Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Willingness to work full-time with flexible hours
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Must complete required company training including food safety and customer service
- Ability to communicate in English clearly
- Willingness to assist team members and adapt to shifting priorities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence in English
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers and handling American money
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Completion of company training programs including food sanitation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge
- Good physical stamina to perform standing, lifting, and moving tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations in English
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards
- Provide exceptional customer service with polite, enthusiastic, and timely interactions
- Prepare and decorate bakery items including bread, rolls, muffins, pies, cakes, and cookies following recipes and customer specifications
- Operate food preparation equipment safely and efficiently to ensure proper portioning and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, counters, food contact surfaces, refrigerators, floors, and displays
- Unload and stock products in coolers and shelves following inventory and rotation standards
- Assist fellow associates with tasks such as inventory, restocking, and merchandising
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, food handling, and customer relations
- Communicate professionally over the phone and in-person to support customer service and store operations
- Follow safety protocols to handle and apply chemicals according to regulations
- Comply with all store cleanliness, health, and safety standards consistently
