Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to follow company dress and grooming standards
- Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and multitask
- Good attendance and punctuality with advance notice of absences
- Ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Capability to handle and apply chemicals safely
- Must complete all required company training
- Ability to work in a moderate environment with exposure to temperature variations, mechanical parts, fumes, and chemicals
- Pass company background and drug screening as applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
- Basic math skills including addition and subtraction with money and weight
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with customers and team members
- Completion of company training programs including food sanitation and customer service
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to customer requests
- Clean work areas and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Unload stock and reload salvage products following company guidelines
- Operate necessary equipment for food preparation and portioning
- Maintain merchandise displays and prepare product samples according to company standards
