Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, lift 20 to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform basic math operations with money and measurements
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Experience or training in food preparation or customer service preferred but not required
- Ability to follow food safety guidelines
- Basic math skills including operations with American money and measurements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated professionalism and positive attitude
- Ability to learn and apply training quickly
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Capacity to manage cash handling according to guidelines
Job Duties
- Prepare all fudge products and sell to customers
- Perform all Ginna's restaurant functions including deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge, and other duties as assigned
- Follow all food safety guidelines by state and local ordinances
- Ensure products are received and stored according to standard operating guidelines
- Assist in training new associates using kitchen tools, mentor checklists, and standard operating guidelines
- Ensure cash control and till management is followed according to Scheels cashier guidelines
- Manage and support side work, daily and detail cleaning schedules, opening and closing procedures
- Maintain working knowledge of café recipes and prepared foods
- Maintain an orderly and exceptionally clean personal workspace and surrounding areas
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10's and 100's using units of American money and weight, volume, and distance measurements
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Write routine reports and correspondence
- Speak effectively before groups of customers and employees
- Work assigned schedule which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prepare many different types of food, drinks, and ingredients
