Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in bell or valet services in a hotel environment preferred
  • proficiency in English reading, writing, and oral communication
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
  • possession of First Responder Certification is a plus
  • must have legal work authorization in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • previous bell or valet experience in a hotel environment preferred
  • proficiency in reading, writing and oral communication in English
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
  • First Responder Certification is a plus
  • excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks with professionalism
  • valid legal work authorization in the United States

Job Duties

  • Greets guests who arrive by private car and assists guests descending from cars
  • issues appropriate valet parking ticket and explains parking procedure and price when Door Staff is unavailable
  • greets guests and escorts them to their rooms
  • delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, maintaining proper records
  • assesses vehicle damage when Doorman is not available and notes it on claim ticket
  • drives car to hotel or local garage safely adhering to traffic rules
  • provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city
  • hails taxis as needed
  • retrieves cars for guests swiftly and safely
  • handles all guest interactions with high hospitality and professionalism
  • greets all guests passing through lobby and offers assistance
  • performs shoeshine service and returns shoes to guests
  • performs errands for guests and hotel including local travel and house car services within a 3 mile radius
